Love is Blind S6:
Thirty singles, aged 25 to 37, entered the pods to test whether they could forge a deep connection, strong enough for marriage, without seeing each other's faces.
Five couples emerged victorious, their emotional bond strong enough to warrant a romantic getaway to the Dominican Republic. But would paradise ignite their connection or expose cracks in the foundation? When they return to Charlotte, North Carolina, reality sets in, leaving some couples questioning everything.

Johnny McIntyre, a 28-year-old account executive, and Amy Cortés, a 28-year-old e-commerce specialist, emerged triumphant as one of the five couples that successfully left the pods, securing their fairy-tale ending.
In a pre-Season 6 interview, Johnny shared that their relationship was "very smooth," because "Amy was very open about a lot of different things. I basically would question her to really test her and see where she stood on certain topics. And she would really try to see where I was coming from with asking it and then be able to respond back," he shares with USA TODAY.

The Controversial Birth Control Conversation
A really important part of Amy and Johnny's story was when they had these honest talks about birth control.
In Episode 8, Amy and Johnny opened up about their decision to abstain from sex because Johnny was worried about the financial readiness for parenthood. Johnny had thought about getting a vasectomy, but by Episode 11, he realized it wasn't as easily reversible as he thought. Clinical trials for a male contraceptive pill also didn't interest him.
Amy saw this as a serious matter, saying, "It's not something that we could have resolved in one day." Speaking to USA TODAY, she explained that their ongoing conversations about this topic were crucial to figuring out if they were compatible, considering it the most challenging obstacle they faced.
In Episode 8, Johnny had emphasized that preventing pregnancy is not solely the responsibility of the woman. He mentioned that most of his previous partners had been on the pill, but Amy, although considering it before, wasn't ready to take hormonal medication.
In Episode 11, the engaged couple delved into discussions about vasectomies and contraceptive pills for both males and females. Johnny admitted, "I thought it was a quick little tying, put a bow on something, and you're good to go." However, he realized it wasn't that simple.
Their candid discussions sparked debates on social media about birth control methods.
