A couple have chemistry when they start to are give each other cute little nicknames.
So it was for Love Is Blind season 6 couple Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Clay Gravesande, who fans could easily see were feeling each other from the first day in the pods. But this is Love Is Blind after all, so their road to the altar was filled with twists, turns, and a whole lot of drama.

Who said ''I Don't"
The finale kickstarted beautifully with a bachelorette party of she and her fellow season bride to be Amy who also said I do at the altar and a couple of her other friends.

The drama around Clay and AD's relationship was a concern to the fans from the very beginning. Clay is not sure he wants to get married as he constantly brings up the effects of his fathers infidelities in the marriage with his mother and how that has impacted him. On the other hand, AD cannot contain her excitement.

It looked like there might be a happy ending at the altar as both Clay and AD deliver emotional vows with big smiles. AD says "I do" first, while Clay first gives a lenghty speech about how he's enjoyed the process and he loves her but he doesn't think it's "responsible" for him to say "I do" because he still needs to work on himself. He wants to continue their relationship but not get married — even when AD had told earlier this season that it's either marriage or nothing for her. She says, "What the f***," and leaves him at the altar.

Clay rushes into the dressing room to speak to her while she's in tears and telling him of how much she feel he used her to find him self. Clay tells AD saying ''I do'' was a ''game time'' decision for him. He tells her he's willing to work it out in therapy as he's still very much interested in having a relationship with her AD says she doesn't regret saying ''I do'' but doesn't see herself returning to him.
Back in the beginning of the season Amber said "I don't really give 'the nice guy' a try, but I want something real," she says in a confessional.

"I do wanna fight for AD," he tells Johnny just before the wedding. "I can see myself married to AD."
Unfortunately, the tides changed the other way when it was time to exchange vows.
