Busola & Taiwo Love Story

Are you ready to get into how I met my man?

Well….. I went to a cookout and lo and behold it was Taiwo’ family’s cookout.

Come to find out Taiwo has been my neighbor for some time and we never crossed paths. As I was leaving, Taiwo kindly asked for my number and from there we spent the summer together.

After our beautiful summer together it was time for me to resume back to college.

From there life happened and we fell out of touch for a while. 

Fast forward to 2021, we met again at a wedding and he was looking good.

I tried to shoot my shot. I jokingly asked if he was seeing anyone and to my surprise his response was “No”. In the words of Heather Headley “if it comes back then it means so much more” IYKYK.. 

We then rekindled our friendship, our love began, and the rest was history. 

Fast forward to April 8, 2023, Taiwo got down on one knee and asked Busola to marry me.
